Russia is suffering from the shortage of silicon metal.
All the metal is purchased in China or EU.
Thus, Italian Tenova and Codest decided to create a silicon cluster. The project includes the construction of a plant to produce silicon metal with the capacity of 36 thousand tons per year.
Investments will reach $134.5 million. (Ukrainian metal)
