In 2018 Russia will increase seamless pipes exports by 24% YoY, to 715 thousand tons.
According to the Pipe Industry Development Fund, Kazakhstan is the main importer, accounting for 25.4% of all purchases, or 181 thousand tons.
Seamless pipes deliveries to Kazakhstan in January-September grew by 30% YoY, to 141 thousand tons valued at $146.5 million.
Welded pipes exports to Kazakhstan, including large diameter pipes, reached 188 thousand tons at $152 million.
Import of Kazakh pipes in 9 months was 525 tons at $812 thousand. (Ukrainian metal)
