In January-October the share of metals and metal wares in the overall exports from Russia was 10% (10.2% last year), in exports to far foreign countries – 9.6% (9.9%) and to the CIS – 12.9% (12.5%).

According to the Federal Customs Service, the exports grew by 11.6% YoY volume-wise and by 25.4% price-wise.

In particular, volume-wise pig iron exports increased by 28.9%, copper and alloys – by 16.1%, semi-finished steel products – by 12.1%, and aluminum – by 5.4%. At the same time flat rolled metal exports dropped by 4.9%. (Ukrainian metal)
