Pobuzhye Ferronickel Plant has suspended the project to create its own railroad cargo cars fleet.
The press-service reminded that the main motive behind Solway Investment Group decision to create the fleet was the insufficient number of the rolling stock last winter.
“Now the situation has stabilized a bit. There is information, that new cars appeared on the market, including at private companies”, the company noted.
With the view of the above the group decided to monitor the situation and not take the final decision as yet.
“If the situation does not change for the better and the private companies cannot provide enough rolling stock to transport ore, the project will be reassessed,” the press-service said. (Ukrainian metal)
