The rail-beam shop of Evraz ZSMK has commissioned the second line of rail processing.
The project allows increasing 100-meter R65 rails output 2-fold as well as producing European 60E1 and 54E1 rails with the length of 30, 36, 60, 72 and 90 meters.
Investments in the project totaled 168 million rubles.
In particular, the manufacture of 100-meter rails will increase from 245 thousand tons per year to 540 thousand tons.
The large-scale reconstruction of the rail-beam manufacture at Evraz ZSMK was completed in 2013.
