The Oscol Electrometallurgical Works has commissioned a new machine of water descaling.
Investment into the machine, assembled at the mill-350 in the bar-rolling shop No. 2, totaled 180 million rubles.
“The project has been carried out under the program to improve SBQ (special bar quality) quality. The new machine will greatly increase our product portfolio and strengthen our positions on the SBQ market”, Metalloinvest first deputy CEO, manufacturing director Andrey Ugarov said.
OEMK produces over 1 million tons of SBQ per year. (Ukrainian metal)
