Uralelectromed has started the final stage of preparing the construction site for the third stage of the copper electrolysis shop.
The disassembly of the roof and metal structures of the old shop building is underway.
Some 600 tons of metal structures have already been disassembled.
The work is carried out according to the schedule, and by December 25 only the foundation pit has to remain, ready to prepare the foundation for the third stage.
The first stage of the shop was commissioned in February 2012, and the second stage – in May 2018.
With the third stage operational the combined copper cathode output will reach 400 thousand tons per year. (Ukrainian metal)
