In January-September rolled metal consumption in Ukraine grew by 1.03% YoY, to 3.692 million tons.
Imports accounted for 29.2% as opposed to 26.1% last year.
Thus, imports grew by 13.2%, to 1.078 million tons.
Flat rolled metal accounted for 49.38%, and bars – 47.5% as opposed to 58.52% and 40.54% last year respectively.
CIS countries supplied 55.1% of metal, Asia – 18.4% and EU – 17.7%. (Ukrainian metal)
