MMK and Sinosteel Equipment & Engineering Co have signed a memorandum of intention and cooperation in the project to reconstruct the MMK coke manufacture.
The parties have agreed to conclude agreements for the construction of objects under the project.
The project presupposes the construction of the coke-oven battery No. 12, reconstruction of the recovery plant, as well as the construction of the biochemical machine.
The commissioning of the coke-oven battery No. 12 will allow MMK to shut down outdated coke-oven batteries Nos. 1, 2 and 3, which will improve the environment in the city of Magnitogorsk. (Ukrainian metal)
