Austria’s RHI Magnesita may invest 250-300 million euros in a magnesite field and construction of an electro-cast magnesium plant in Russia’s Krasnoyarsk region, the region’s government said in a statement on October 16 following a meeting of the governor Alexander Uss with representatives of the Austrian company.
“RHI Magnesita is considering investing about 250-300 million euros in exploration of a magnesite field and construction of a plant to produce electro-cast magnesia and fire-clay bricks in the region. The production capacity may reach 100,000-200,000 tons per year,” the statement read. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
