In January-August Russia exported 2.12 million tons of aluminum and alloys, up by 14.8% YoY.

According to the Federal Customs Service, in summer the exports were steadily growing: in June Russia exported 240 thousand tons of aluminum, in July – 300 thousand tons, up by 2.8% MoM, and in August – 423.3 thousand tons, up by 41.1%.

At the same time Russian Railroads reports the drop of aluminum exports in September by 7% MoM, to 261 thousand tons. Moreover the company believes the August results were lower than those witnessed by the FCS – 281 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
