Zaporozhye Iron Ore Complex together with the town council of Dneprorudnoye is reconstructing the main water pipeline.
“Over 19 thousand citizens of Dneprorudnoye had for a long time to cope with constant failures of the pipeline and the bad quality of water. Most of the company employees reside here. And they together with their families have become hostages of the situation. We could no longer ignore this problem and decided to finance the reconstruction of the water pipeline”, the company CEO Mikhail Korolenko declared.
The town council has financed the design documentation of the emergency site (3 km) reconstruction. And the project itself (10.8 million UAH) was financed in equal parts by the Zaporozhye Iron Ore Complex and Zaporozhye Region Council.
The metal pipes will be replaces with polyethylene pipes. Repair is scheduled to be complete in October. (Ukrainian metal)
