From October 1 Metinvest is increasing wages of its employees on average by 10%.
According to the group press service, the experienced repairmen and technical engineers will see their salary grow by 15%. The wages of master workers and ordinary workers will increase by 10%, and of administration personnel – by 7%.
This year Metinvest has already increased salary – in April on average by 20%.
Combined expenses on the salary increase have totaled 2.2 billion UAH.
According to the State Statistics Service, in Ukraine the average salary is 9170 UAH, while in the mining and metal sector – 13282 UAH.
Thus, after the wage increase Metinvest employees will get 73% more than on average in the country and 20% than in the industry. (Ukrainian metal)
