In January-July Russian imports grew by 11.8% YoY, to $136.9 billion.

According to the customs statistics, the share of metal and metal wares was 7.3%, up from 7.1%.

The share of far foreign countries was flat at 5.9%, while that of CIS countries went up to 18.5% from 16.3%.

The monetary value of imports grew by 15.2%, while physical volumes – by 14.3%.

Imports of ferrous metals and wares increased by 15.5%, while pipes dropped by 31.7%, and flat iron and non-alloyed steel – by 3.2%. (Ukrainian metal)
