In January-August Ukraine imported 3.273 million tons of aluminum ore and concentrate valued at $131.251 million, up by 7.65%, but down by 0.1% YoY respectively.
According to the State Fiscal Service, the main suppliers were Guinea (56.62%), Guyana (37.75%) and Brazil (4.59%).
Ukraine re-exported 45 tons of bauxites valued at $5 thousand to Poland, while in January-August 2017, 22 tons valued at $1 thousand were re-exported to Poland and 140 tons at $9 thousand to Russia. (Ukrainian metal)
