In January-June the mines of Donetsk region increased coal output by 5.3% YoY, to 5.9 million tons.
At the same time this is 17.3% less than in January-June 2016.
Last year the region yielded 10.2 million tons of coal, down from 14.5 million tons in 2016 and 38.1 million tons in 2013.
In Q1 1144.3 million UAH were invested in the mining and quarrying as opposed to 539 million UAH in Q1 2017.
In H1 coal industry of the region employed 41 thousand people.
The average salary was 10777 UAH, up by 24.2% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
