The Miners Union of Ukraine has applied to the International Labor Organization, a part of UN, with the complaint on the breach of their rights due to the non-payment of salary.
According to the Independent Miners Union chairman Mikhail Volynets, the salary debts to miners are growing.
So far the debt amounts to 1 billion UAH. In 2 weeks it will grow by 500 million UAH more.
In particular, the state debt to the miners of Selidovugol is 238 million UAH for the year 2015. The salary debt for May-July to Pervomayskugol is 145 million UAH, to Toretskugol – 97 million.
Now Mirnogradugol miners demand the payment of salary for June and July (71 million UAH). (Ukrainian metal)
