The Prime Minister of Ukraine Vladimir Groysman has approved the appointment of the new state enterprise Pervomayskugol CEO.

The previous acting director Artur Mirumyan was fired by the order of the energy minister Igor Nasalik on August 7.

The new director will be presented to the employees after the relevant order is signed.

The reason to fire Mirumyan was the ineffective operation to remove the consequences of the accident at the Zolotoye mine and inefficient spending of over 131 million UAH of budget funds.

On April 25 the Cabinet of Ministers provided the state enterprise with 131.188 million UAH, and on May 2 the Zolotoye mine was flooded. As the result coal mining stopped at the mine and other Pervomayskugol mines were on the brink of flooding and suspending operation. (Ukrainian metal)
