Stoylensky Mining and Processing Works has put into operation a new 15-cubic meter excavator.
The machine will be loading ore into railroad dump cars to be transported to the processing factory.
The excavator has been purchased under the project to develop the quarry and increase quartzite output.
The weight of the machine is 700 tons. The ladle with the volume of 15 cubic meters allows it loading railroad cars 1.5 times faster, than ladles with the volume of 12 cubic meters.
At present 42 various excavators are operating at the Stoylensky quarry. (Ukrainian metal)
