At the 3rd Russian-South African Conference on Platinum Group Metals official representatives of Norilsk Nickel have reported on their achievements in the illegal trade struggle.
It was decided to create the bank of platinum group metals and their raw materials.
Nornickel has developed a unique test to determine the origin of precious metals contained in any products, which cross state borders.
According to the company, the bank of samples now needs considerable expansion.
As soon as Nornickel methods are certified, the South African manufacturers of platinum group metals will be able to add their samples to the bank.
The Russian test will have the international status and will be actively used by foreign companies. (Ukrainian metal)
