In January-June companies received 2.081 million tons of rolled metal, with 653.3 thousand tons, or 31.4% imported.
In H1 2017 the market consumed 1.971 million tons of rolled metal, with 575.3 thousand tons, or 29.2% imported.
Thus, rolled metal consumption increased by 5.6%, with the import share up by 13.6%.
Bars accounted for 48.6% and flat rolled metal for 47.9%, as opposed to 60.8% and 38.2% last year. (Ukrainian metal)
