The Central Processing Factory Pechorskaya of Vorkutaugol has successfully finished an experiment to improve quality of the coal concentrate and has started supplying it to Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works.
The project to decrease ash content in the concentrate began in April. As the result of the experiments, the ash content was decreased to 8%.
“Now the Vorkutaugol products could replace 10-20% of concentrates previously used by CherMK. Our deliveries remained on the previous level, but the quality has improved,” Pechorskaya director Irina Suvorova said. (Ukrainian metal)
