Severstal has shipped hot-rolled sheet to Uralmash NGO Holding LLC. The rolled metal will be used to produce drilling rigs to be operated in the extreme conditions of the Far North.
The sheets were produced at Cherepovest Iron and Steel Works.
By 2020 the company will have modernized the flat rolled metal manufacture, valued at 8 billion rubles. In particular, the 2800-mill will undergo repairs.
In H1 Severstal supplied 275 thousand tons of rolled metal to Russian machine-builders, up by 6% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
