In May, according to the customs statistics, Russia imported 70.3 thousand tons of galvanized flat steel, up by 5.1% YoY.
In January-May imports dropped by 12.1%, to 269 thousand tons.
Kazakhstan supplied 54% of the steel, down by 8% YoY. Average price was $779 per ton without VAT.
South Korea supplied 15.6%, up by 22.9%, at the average price of $912.4 per ton.
Ukraine came third with 11.7%, down by 45.4%, at $698 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
