In May Severstal – Bar Works Balakovo produced 74.5 thousand tons of metal.
Since its commissioning in 2014 the company has been constantly increasing its product range.
“The increase in output is due to the growth of production at the rolling mill. The works combines three rolling mills in one. We produce sections, and rebars in rods and coils”, the company director Artem Akinfiev said.
The increase in output and sales has to do with the stable demand from the construction companies.
Over 5% of the output was exported, in particular to Georgia, Latvia, Hungary, Armenia and Germany. (Ukrainian metal)
