In January-May Zaporizhstal increased rolled metal output by 13.8% YoY, to 1.5 million tons.
Steel manufacture grew by 7.4%, to 1.7 million tons, and that of pig iron – by 28.5%, to 1.7 million tons.
In May Zaporizhstal produced 311.1 thousand tons of pig iron, 320.4 thousand tons of steel and 307.1 thousand tons of rolled metal.
In 2017 the company produced 3.21 million tons of rolled metal, 3.92 million tons of steel and 3.79 million tons of pig iron, down by 4.6%, but up by 0.9% and by 5.4% YoY respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
