In January-March Uzbekistan Iron and Steel Works received 83.5 billion sums of net profit, up 6.5-fold YoY.
Net revenue from sales grew 3-fold, to 872.7 billion sums, and gross profit – 3.1-fold, to 241.4 billion sums.
The works was commissioned in 1944. In 1994 after the merge with the Shirin Machine-Building Works and the Vtorcherment management group, Uzbekistan Iron and Steel Works was created. (Ukrainian metal)
