Bystrinsky Mining and Processing Works has started selling magnetite (iron ore) concentrate.

The first batch of 680 tons has been shipped to China.

In May some 10 thousand tons of the concentrate will be sold.

In April the works started selling copper concentrate. 4.5 thousand tons have been sold to China.

BGOK also intends to supply a part of its products to the domestic market. In particular, negotiations are underway with Evraz.

Bystrinsky GOK was constructed in the hard-to-reach part of Zabaikalye region by Nornickel in late 2017.

When the works reaches its project capacity, it will produce up to 3.5 million tons of magnetite concentrate and 260 thousand tons of copper concentrate per year. (Ukrainian metal)
