This has led to a strategic focus on introducing state-of-the-art information technologies into the production and management processes in order to cut costs, improve transparency, strengthen intra-corporate relationships, and launch new services for clients and employees. The use of the new technologies and cooperation with major IT companies continues to help MMK optimize costs and improve production efficiency.
MMK’s information strategy is composed of the following aspects – an integrated corporate information system, mobile access to key business processes, modeling and forecasting, end-to-end planning of customized production, and real-time control of order fulfillment. In order to access the best available technologies, MMK opened a Research Center at Skolkovo in October 2017. (MMK/Ukrainian metal)
