Domestic enterprises of the aluminum-consuming industries are prepared to increase the volumes of purchases.
“For example, the representatives of the cable industry say they can process up to 500 thousand tons of aluminum, up from the current levels of 200-300 thousand tons”, the Aluminum Association chairman Valentin Trischenko said.
The small business also has ways to increase aluminum consumption.
“Our furniture industry is actively developing new projects and adding new products, which can compete with the leading foreign manufacturers both on domestic and export markets”, he added. (Ukrainian metal)
