The Belarus Iron and Steel Works has expanded the overall export geography to 118 countries, the company’s press service reported.
This year the steel mill BMZ has shipped a batch of rolled steel to Guatemala. In January-April BMZ also offered new kinds of metal products to Denmark and Mali.
According to the latest data, in January-April BMZ exported over $384 million worth of merchandise, up by 36% YoY. Foreign customers received over 596,000 tons of metal products. Most of the exports were shipped via the company’s distribution chain. The markets of Europe, the USA, and the CIS were a high priority for BMZ.
Established in 1984, BMZ is the managing company of the holding company Belarusian Metallurgical Company. BMZ produces cast sections, long and rolled products, reinforcing bars, pipes, metal cord, high pressure wire, and other sorts of wire. (BelTA/Ukrainian metal)
