Investment company Interros of the Russian businessman Vladimir Potanin has closed an acquisition of 2.1% in mining and metallurgic company Norilsk Nickel from Crispian Investments of businessman Roman Abramovich’s Millhouse to raise its stake to 32.9%, a representative of Interros reported on March 15.
Earlier in March aluminum giant UC RUSAL of businessman Oleg Deripaska owning 27.8% in Norilsk Nickel and Interros preliminary agreed in the London court that each of them bought about 2% in the nickel company from Crispian, whose stake amounted to 6.37%.
The deals may be cancelled if Rusal wins the case. (Prime/Ukrainian metal)
