In 2017 Metalloinvest increased sales of high quality rolled metal for bridge construction by 24% YoY, to 230 thousand tons (186 thousand tons in 2016).
Last year a number of major infrastructure objects constructed of the UralStal steel were commissioned, such as the bridge over the Volga River in Nizhniy Novgorod and over the Tura in Tyumen.
In late 2017 a bridge with the length of 122.3 meters in the village of Budovo in Tver region was put into operation. UralStal supplied 9745 tons of steel for the project.
Metalloinvest rolled metal was used for the construction of some 100 bridges and viaducts. (Ukrainian metal)
