In January Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works increased shipping of metal wares by 4% YoY, to 37.6 thousand tons.
Welding wire for the manufacture of electrodes and low-carbon wire for ferroconcrete structures showed the most increase – by 64% and by 53% respectively.
Wire nails sales grew by 48%.
Welding alloyed wire sales increased by 39%.
Cold-deformed rebars and ordinary quality wire, used in construction, demonstrated an increase of 32% and 26% in sales. Sales of steel ropes for oil and gas industry grew by 16%. Rebar threads had a smaller growth – 2%. (Ukrainian metal)
