ChTPZ has become the only supplier of low-temperature large diameter pipes for the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.
In January-May ChTPZ will ship some 3 thousand tons of LDP to Nord Stream 2 AG.
All the pipes will be made of low temperature steel, thus the operating temperature could be as low as –38 degrees C.
The group won the tender to supply 600 thousand tons of LDP in March 2016. So far, ChTPZ has supplied 400 thousand tons of pipes. (Ukrainian metal)
