In 2017 Ukraine decreased rolled metal output by 14% YoY, to 18.44 million tons.
Of this 14.59 million tons (79.1%) were exported. In 2016 the export share was 82.4%.
Semi-finished products accounted for 43.1% of the total volume, flat rolled metal – 33.1%, long rolled metal – 23.8%.
In 2016 the export share of flat rolled metal was 29.2%, and of long rolled metal – 27%.
The main sales markets for Ukrainian rolled metal are the EU countries (32.3%), Near East (14.3%) and other European countries, including Turkey (14%). (Ukrainian metal)
