In 2017 Zabaykalye region produced 1436.9 tons of tungsten concentrate, down by 17.7% YoY.
Two companies are developing tungsten ore deposits – Novoorlovsky Mining and Processing Works and Bom-Gorkhonsky Mine LLC.
Last year Novoorlovsky GOK produced 1380 tons of tungsten concentrate, having provided 96% of the total volume. The rest was mined by Bom-Gorkhonsky Mine.
In 2016 tungsten concentrate output was 1746 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
