ArcelorMittal Temirtau has been fined for 600 million tenge for the damaged caused to the environment.
The Department of ecology says that this fine has nothing to do with the black snow.
At the same time the company has been fined for polluting the environment.
“The air pollution exceeded the norms. The company also failed to meet the environment protection target”, the department said.
The fine itself is 105 million tenge. The rest is the compensation for the damage to the environment. (Ukrainian metal)
