In 2017 Ferrexpo, owner of Poltava and Yeristovo Mining and Processing Works, sold 10.4 million tons of iron ore pellets, down by 11.1% YoY, while output decreased by 6.8%, to 10.444 million tons, mostly because of the crusher’s repair.

65% Fe content pellets manufacture dropped by 6.2%, to 9.885 million tons, while that of 62% Fe content pellets – by 16.1%, to 0.559 million tons.

The share of premium pellets in 2017 increased to 95% from 94% in 2016.

In Q4 2017 pellets output grew by 12% QoQ, to 2.791 million tons, including those of own ore – by 10.9%, to 2.763 million tons.

In 2017 own ore pellets manufacture by Ferrexpo dropped by 6% YoY, to 10.394 million tons, including 65% Fe pellets – by 5.4%, to 9.836 million tons, and 62% Fe pellets – by 14.9%, to 0.559 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
