Ormet is finishing the construction of infrastructure at the Luchistoye quarry needed to start mining.
The site has electricity, water supply system and lighting.
The depth of the quarry is 20 meters. The first tons of ore will be extracted from below 30 meters. By the end of the year the company plans to have mined 990 thousand cubic meters of rock.
Russian Copper Company started developing the Luchistoye deposits in Orenburg region in June. Its reserves are estimated at 112 thousand tons of chalcopyrite. (Ukrainian metal)
