The Toretskaya mine of the state enterprise Toretskugol has put a new long face in operation.
The face at the depth of 910 meters will yield 100 tons of coal a day.
“This is not the first mine into which I descend, where coal is mined with the help of hammers. This is one hell of a job for the boys. The miners have an opportunity to work, but we have to create a new business. We must not be so hard on these people”, the regional governor Pavel Zhebrivsky declared. (Ukrainian metal)
