En+ Group, belonging of Oleg Deripaska and owning 48.13% of Rusal, has attracted VEB to two aluminum projects.

In particular, VEB will invest 18.5 billion rubles in the construction of the first stage of TaAZ with the capacity of 420 thousand tons per year, and 7.7 billion rubles on the creating of aluminum plates manufacture at KraMZ with the capacity of 60 thousand tons.

TaAZ is Rusal’s project, while KraMZ is wholly owned by En+.

Rusal has already invested over $770 million in TaAZ, while the cost of the first stage construction is estimated at $940 million. (Ukrainian metal)
