The Cabinet of Ministers has confirmed the creation of the state enterprise National Coal Company. It will unite 19 state enterprises, which include 33 state mines.
The creation of this state enterprise will optimize the structure of coalmining companies by uniting them in a single legal entity and improving mines efficiency.
In 2017 the state mines are expected to increase coal output to 6.3 million tons, in 2018 – to 8.7 million tons, in 2019 onward – over 10 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
