Izhorsky Pipe Works, a part of Severstal, has supplied over 42 thousand tons of 1420 mm diameter pipes of K60 steel for the construction of the Sila Sibiri (Power of Siberia) gas pipelines.
Such pipes can withstand increased deformations and remain stable under active seismic influence. The first batch of pipes was shipped to the customer in April.
Rolled plate, also supplied by Severstal for Sila Sibiri, is produced at the 5000 mill in Kolpino. (Ukrainian metal)
