In 2018 the Tajik Aluminum Company plans to start developing the Konchochskay group of deposits.
The deposits have large reserves of gold, silver, mercury, antimony and other metals.
“In 2018 we will start mining and processing gold, silver and antimony”, the company said.
TALCO obtained the license to develop the deposits in December 2015. The license is valid for 25 years.
The company estimates the gold reserves at the deposits at 55 tons, silver – some 44 tons, mercury – 184 tons, and antimony – 268 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
