In September, according to the customs statistics, exports of Russian unalloyed semi-finished products totaled 1.04 million tons, down by 4.2% MoM and by 11.8% YoY.
In August the results were up by 1.1% MoM, but down by 6.4% YoY, while in July down by 1.8% MoM and by 7.7% YoY.
In January-September Russia exported 10.3 million tons of semi-finished products, down by 4.9% YoY and by 2.6% from the 2015 results.
Revenue grew by 34% YoY, to $4114 million – the highest result in 3 years.
The main importer of Russian semi-finished products was Taiwan (22.3%) with the average price of $414.5 per ton FOB Russian border, followed by Turkey (17.2%, $430.5 per ton) and Mexico (14.1%, $459 per ton). (Ukrainian metal)
