In January-October Zabaykalye region produced 1247.5 tons of tungsten concentrate, down by 14% YoY.
In October output totaled 88.8 tons.
The decrease is connected with the drop of tungsten contents in ore.
2 enterprises mine for tungsten ore in the region. Novoorlovsky Mining and Processing Works provides for 96% of the output, while Bom-Gorkhonsky Mine LLC – 4%.
In 2016 the region yielded 1298.8 tons of tungsten. (Ukrainian metal)
