In August, according to the customs statistics, Russia imported 29.1 thousand tons of corrosion-resistant rolled metal valued at $50 million, up by 15.7% and by 7.6% MoM and by 41.7% and by 48.2% YoY respectively.
In July imports increased by 6.8% MoM in volume and by 12.7% in cost.
In January-August Russia imported 190 thousand tons of corrosion-resistant steel valued at $411 million, up by 35.8% and by 51.5% YoY respectively.
600+ mm width rolled metal accounts for 92% of all imports. (Ukrainian metal)
