Neryungri-Metallik, a part of Nordgold, has laid the foundation for the gold-extracting factory at the Gross mine.
The largest Nordgold project in Russia will be commissioned in mid-2018.
The development of Gross began in Q4 2015. The mine is expected to yield some 12 million tons of ore and produce around 7 tons of gold a year during 17 years. (Ukrainian metal)
