In January-September Nordgold extracted 759.6 thousand ounces of gold, up by 12% YoY.

The increase is mostly due to the commission of the Gross mine last year, which has extracted 191.9 thousand ounces, as well as the output growth at the Berezitoviy mine by 8%, to 44.3 thousand ounces.

At the same time, the Bissa mine kept output at 118.9 thousand ounces, Bouly decreased by 3%, to 77.9 thousand ounces, Lefa – by 4%, to 143.5 thousand ounces, Taparko – by 40%, to 46.7 thousand ounces, Taborniy – by 37%, to 58.5 thousand ounces and Suzdal – by 23%, to 49.4 thousand ounces.

Average gold sale price grew by 7%, to $1371 per ounces.

In Q3 gold output increased by 12%, to 288.9 thousand ounces mostly due to the growth of processing at the Taborniy, Gross and Lefa mines. Average gold price went up by 12%, to $1474 per ounce.

This year the company expects Gross to produce 230-235 thousand ounces of gold instead of the scheduled 190 thousand ounces. (Ukrainian metal)
